Stabled Livery Applications

West Barn Livery is a professional, friendly yard and our primary focus is the horse's wellbeing. We don't have a "one size fits all approach" as we understand that each horse is an individual and is treated as such when feeding, providing care, rugging etc... to create calm, healthy and happy horses that thrive according to their own unique requirements.

Applications are now open for spaces on the stabled section of the yard. We offer overnight turnout and daytime bring in all year round, unless we have particularly incliment weather. The increased turnout time and movement suits the horses very well.

Based in Northamptonshire, we are a hybrid yard, with stabled livery and Track/EquiCentral Livery all in one place, allowing us to cater appropriately for different types of horses, offering a more natural alternative to the traditional stabled livery.

We are looking for mare(s) or gelding(s) to join the existing small herd on an assisted DIY, part or full livery basis.

• Meadow grass hay fed all year around

• Track system/ EquiCentral Livery, ideal for Laminitic, Cushings, EMS, arthritic horses.

• Barefoot and shod horses welcome. Barefoot only on the track.

• Small herds in well managed pastures

• Regular worm counts

• Toilet and kitchen facilities

• Direct off-road hacking

• 26x46m floodlit arena

• Lunge Pen

• Grass hacking tracks

• Grass schooling area

• Hot horse shower

• Solarium

• CCTV for security and horse safety

• Trainer on-site, visiting trainers welcome

All packages are personalised to suit the owner's and horse's needs.

We offer full livery, part livery and assisted livery with ad hoc services available when additional help is required.

We provide care for a variety of horses including: Ridden horses, non-ridden horses, rehabilitation cases, retired horses, youngsters, laminitic/metabolic issues, competition horses, happy hackers. All are welcome and catered for individually.

The yard is located just outside the village of Nobottle in Northamptonshire.
