West Barn Equine offer holiday care for horses and ponies.

We offer a service where your horse can come to West Barn Livery for the duration of your holiday and longer if necessary and receive high quality care and healthy training.

Full Livery, stabling and daily turnout
Good quality feed and forage fed in suitable quantities for the individual horse
Quality work suitable to the horse's level of work. Ridden schooling, hacking and in-hand work can be specified.

We pride ourselves on looking after other people’s horses and animals as well as we do our own. Using common sense to make judgements on the weather conditions and what is best for the horses.

We are sympathetic to the fact that horses may need more/less rugs daily depending upon the weather and you can rest assured your horse will receive a top quality service.

We understand that you have to put an enormous amount of trust into someone to leave your animals with them for a holiday, and with us you can have a relaxed holiday knowing that they would receive the best possible care and we are always at the end of the phone. We will send text updates each day if desired for peace of mind.

Ad Hoc Services for Existing Liveries

Terms and Conditions

Owner's must provide 1 month’s notice for all cover of more than 7 days and 7 day’s notice for any other services. Services may be provided with shorter notice, however, cannot be guaranteed.

The owner will be expected to provide adequate quantity and quality bedding, forage and feed for the horse.

Regular services shall be invoiced at the end of each month.

Ad-hoc services shall be invoiced at the end of the Period worked.

Invoices are to be paid within 7 days. The yard manager reserves the right to charge a late payment fee of 5%.

By commissioning these services, it is assumed you agree to these conditions.
